Northern Tadka has moved closer down South with a new location in Andheri, in addition to those in Malad and Dahisar. Enjoy complimentary pitchers and glasses of Draught Beer (dependent upon your order), a tawa look-a-like menu and authentic Punjabi food amongst bamboos, ropes and lanterns. Punjabi Aloo Tikki comes out tops. Veg (Rs. 385; Malad: Rs. 400) and Non-Veg (Rs. 550; Malad: Rs. 500) Platters come with one full beer pitcher on the house! Punjabi favourites include well-spiced and well-cooked Changezi Chicken, Bhuna Meat and Rahra Meat. Vegetarians, try the predictable but tasty Paneer Butter Masala, Paneer Pasanda and Shahi Kofta Curry. Top it off with Gajar Halwa and Badami Kheer.

I much like interiors of Northern Tadka. All decorated with bamboos, ropes and lanterns. Definitely it gives the feeling of Punjab in Mumbai. The food is also good. Most I like is Changezi Chicken and Rahra Meat. Paneer Butter Masala and Paneer Pasanda are deliciously yummy. Cherry on the cake is Gajar ka Halwa and Badami Kheer. Perfect Punjabi food and ambiance, Northern Tadka rocks.
