One of my favourite spots for Chinese, Hotel Marine Plaza's first floor restaurant is unquestionably one of the city's finer ones; it continues to blossom and remains as packed as ever (with plenty of Chinese and Korean too - always a good sign of authenticity). The elegant, smiling service and subtle earth colours, set off by black and white, are as spiffy as ever. Chef Huang Te Sing's (son of Chef Wong Mon Pon) grasp of Schezwan and Cantonese cooking styles are pretty evident in the new menu items like the Crispy Aromatic Duck or the Tiger Prawns. The uncluttered appearance and fresh ingredients mark Chef Huang's superb version of Prawn Chilli Oyster Sauce, Mongolian Chicken, Peking Duck and Roast Chicken. My veggie friends are happy too (Jade Rolls, Three Treasure Salt 'n' Pepper, Crispy Beancurd, Dry Red Chilli). Check out their VFM Set Menus for eight and Dim Sum lunch menu. Spend Rs. 400 and make a leisurely meal for two with their nourishing and delicious Chimney Soup, a soup in which you cook your meats and seafood on your table in a coal-fired container. Something I look forward to doing regularly.

Chinese food is something that I can have anytime, any day and the credit for this love goes to this restaurant that knows its Chinese food really well. The food is no doubt delicious and the ambience is also somewhat unmistakable.
Mangolian Chicken, Dim sums, seafood all are lovely dishes of this restaurant and it’s totally worth the money I pay. I am satisfied with their service and every time I look forward to visit this restaurant.

Went along with pals for a lunch and the place had a good ambience . We ordered Prawn Chilli Oyster Sauce, Mongolian Chicken, Crispy Beancurd and plain hakka noodles. It was a filling meal without feeling heavy. The food was brilliant and was served hot. Good place to dine out.
