Vishwa Bharati cashes in more on its location (just across the railway station) rather than its food. For over 50 years, this pure-vegetarian restaurant has been dishing out a wide range of South and North Indian fare, served in separate sections. The non-air-conditioned ground floor serves South Indian dishes along with some Punjabi and Chinese fare. The air-conditioned section upstairs serves Punjabi and Chinese fare exclusively. You'll get the usual Paneer Tikka Masala, Paneer Chilli, Gobhi Manchurian and Veg Crunchy among others here. Nothing standout or special about the dishes, but regulars like the price points — all under Rs. 200.

I have grown up in Mulund and Vishwa Bharati has been a popular choice for Sunday brunch for me and my family, They have wide range south indian snacks dosas, idlis, vada sambhar etc which are to die especially the sambhar and chutney which is served with every south indian snack is excellent.
I have been there for dinner as well and the veg biryani, chole, palak paneer, malai kofta etc are a few dishes I would recommend. They do offer sandwitch and juices for the calorie conscious.
The air conditioned top floor has been a new addition to the restaurant which offers everything which is served in the non ac down floor and much more.
The locals can vouch for the consistent taste and high quality maintained by them over the years. I highly recommend this place for everyone who visits Mulund.
