The Oberoi’s elegant Italian restaurant seduces with its unique dining experience and masterly fare. Every guest who dines here is first escorted (by a trained sommelier) through the enoteca, a wine library with 1,200 bottles (180 labels, primarily Italian from Piedmont, Tuscany and Sicily Venetto), out of which they are invited to try six (three red and three white) paired with cheese sourced from alpine pastures in Italy. A great opportunity to try some of the finest wines of the Italian regions. Barolo Livio Felluga and Luce Lucente Ornilaya or from Tenuta San Guido, Sassicaia and Guido Alberto. Top-of-the-line French wines too. There’s an exceptional champagne collection, Grappas or the traditional Italian Limoncello, Prosecco, Amaretto too. Plenty of cocktails (Thyme Bellini, Sicilian Martini and more. Chef Vincenzo di Tuoro’s Antipasti range draws from only the finest ingredients. At lunch, floor-to-ceiling glass panels infuse the restaurant with cheerful rainbow hues, while at night, silhouetted glowing bottles in the bar and back-lit amber panels make it look sexily glamorous. How fitting then that this glorious space is called ”Vetro” (glass in Italian).

The elegant Italian food heaven, Vetro has its class, beauty and style in food as well as in its interior and overall set up. The most dynamic corner of this restaurant is a wine collection corner. With the delicious Italian food the ultimate good quality wines are a deadly combination and that is a source of joy for me. I love the Caesar Salad and Bruschetta in food and in wine anything goes down well with me at the Vetro.

At Vento the Italian generosity is displayed with elegance. When I first time came here I was totally taken by surprise the way they receive their guests. The guests are welcomed by very friendly staffs who guide them to the wine library that has a world class collection of wines. The Italian and French wines are the beauty of this place. Wines, Champagnes and wonderful cocktails this place has it all and more. The food is Italian with Pastas, Antipasti, Bruscheta and pizzas spreading a wonderful aroma. Vento is definitely a place worth visiting.
