This all-day dining, stylish restaurant (bathed in natural light) embraces the gleaming lobby, has a clean, sleek look (love the splash of red flowers, the red sofas and the red piano in the lobby), but the menu has complex tastes. It toggles between the elaborate and the straightforward. Chef Satbir Bakshi presents dishes defined by their look-at-me artistry and others that simply go for the gut. One minute you're nibbling on Methi Malai Kofta and succulent kebabs and the next you're carefully manoeuvring your spoon under Escargot with Herb Garlic Butter. Must-try sushi (eighty varieties, well made and fresh), well-priced sashimi, creative salads, (Heart of Palm Salad is made zippier with a hazelnut dressing and crunchier with apple and fennel), sandwiches and burgers are all there. Besides, there is plenty for Indian food lovers (even vegetarians and Jains); dishes are marked "healthy" too. Seamless service. On the whole, the artistry shows, as much in the simple creations as in the ornate ones. Must wind up with the Grand Marnier and blood orange souffle.
