Stick to the South Indian fare (idli, dosa, uttapam) at Nariman Point's pure-vegetarian eatery, a haven for office-goers in the area, thanks to its quick service and reasonable price points. It's packed to the seams during the lunch hour on weekdays! They have Punjabi and Gujarati fare here too and a diverse range of items including Cheese Balls, Mini Pao Bhaji, Kaju Malai Matar and Baby Corn with Vegetables. The Special Gujarati Thali (Rs.262 for lunch and Rs.304 for dinner) is popular, and they've added Paneer Lazeez and Paneer Veg Kolhapuri to the menu, but stick with South Indian at this large air-conditioned and no-fuss eatery. They even have a self-service counter outside that serves fast food for those who are in a tearing hurry. For a more leisurely lunch, enjoy the pure-veg buffet in the small, air-conditioned banquet hall (also given out for parties; 40-300 people).

This is probably the only pure veg restaurant I don’t mind coming again and again! The food is top notch. Authentic Punjabi and Gujarati thalis are a delight each time. And every time they are tastier than the last time. Best veg Indian food and great service.
