The name Barbeque Nation misleads; don’t go salivating with visions of large chunks of steak and chops. Go looking for VFM eating in a pleasing ambience with good quality service and decent alcohol (single malts too). The menu changes daily. Impressive décor with about 5,000sq ft of pleasing space, replete with exposed brick cladding and worn wood, covered with tensile tents. Cheery and comfy. Chilli Garlic Chicken, Tandoori Tangdi, Fish Sarsonwala, Mutton Awadhi Seekh Kebab, Veg Shami Kebab, Oriental Cream Veg, Mediterranean Mushroom and Paneer Chutneywala... all served with interesting sauces. Check out their buffets: Mon–Sat Rs. 483 for veg and Rs. 536 for non-veg; Sunday: Rs. 697 for veg and Rs. 800 for non-veg (lunch). Dinners are grand affairs with weekend rates kicking in as early as Wednesday Rs. 800 for non-veg and Rs. 700 for veg dinner (through Sunday). Mon–Tues: Rs. 700 for non-veg and Rs. 600 for veg. If you arrive by 7.30pm for dinner on Wednesday through Sunday, you will get the ”earlybird special” or the Mon-Tues rate.
