Courteous and polite waiters at this clean, peaceful and air-conditioned Powai eatery that serves Indian as well as Chinese and comfortably seats sixty. Interiors are a bit dark, in spite of the light from the lamps on the false ceiling overhead, and the dark flooring as well as the maroon upholstery on the (comfortable) sofas only contribute further. Families come for the generous portion sizes and delicious food served by Laxmi Next. The tasty Paneer Shole Kebab, with thick chunks of paneer cand melted cheese sandwiched in-between (salad on the side) was very filling.The Masala Papad had too much onion, but the Garlic Naan and Wheat Butter Roti were nice and soft. Although they recommend their Tava Subzi, excessive pieces of brinjal was a spoiler. Stick with the safer options from the Indian (avoid Chinese) menu for mains and South Indian fare for snacks (chaats and sandwiches available too) at this quiet eatery.

Personally speaking, I do not like the ambience as I like bright places and this is not at all bright. Anyways, in food I am a non vegetarian, carnivore person and the menu is all vegetarian so here also its not too attractive for me. Paneer Kebab and Paneer pasanda is good in taste and vegetarians it is decent place.

For me luxury does not always mean expensive places sometimes it means getting the best treatment in simple places like in this restaurant. Simple yet effortlessly likable I would say. Food here is Indian veg and of course they are tasty. Perfect family dining restaurant in this part of the city.

What else you want after a tiring day? To have your meal at peaceful, calm and cool place. Awesome service, amicable waiters and friendly staff, serves you the yummylicious food at Laxmi Next. I went there last week to have dinner and ordered Paneer Shole Kebab, Garlic Naan and Tava Subzi. The food was perfect and the waiters were quite prompt. Waiting to go Laxmi Next next week as well.
