In the middle of all the hustle and bustle at a junction between the S V Road and the Link Road, it is almost impossible to miss the open bricked walls of Three Wise Men. I was just riding by with a friend and we actually came back just to check this place out coz it looked so cozy from the outside. Step inside, and you feel like those double doors are like teleportation devices, and you come out on the other side which is directly in London. The inviting decor made me wanna grab me a pint of beer and order some Fish and Fries immediately.
The place had just opened up since it was just past 3 PM and the pubbing culture is not that prominent in India as to have a full house early in the evening. The music, though, was an instant mood lifter.
We settled down and ordered for a light meal, A Bruschetta platter and a Monterey Jack Quasedilla. The Bruschetta Platter was an assortment of toppings that were Cheese, Olive and Tomato. While I did not care about the Tomato, Olive was really nice, and the Cheese was absolutely not needed on there. The Quasedilla was scrumptious and perfectly balanced with the tart Jalapenos and the salty Cheese, and was served with 3 dips, the Salsa, the Guacamole, and a Sour Cream Dip.
All in all it was a happy place, our server was very helpful even though we were the only ones in the rest-o-bar and the music pretty much made our day! With a heavy heart and lighter pockets (A little on the expensive side) we were teleported back to the busy streets of Santacruz. Would love to go back to experience their boozy evenings sometime!
