You can trust the million-ideas-a-minute Vithal Kamath (of Orchid Hotel) to come up with this one. ”If we delay you, you don't pay” promises this 24-hour coffee shop of the Orchid Ecotel, located right next to the domestic airport. The stopwatch placed on your table helps you track the time. Go for their Lightning Menu and get served in 10 minutes flat! The noise can get overpowering, but go there if you're in a hurry. As the book goes to press, I pop into Orchid's 24-hour bustling coffee shop, and find it same as ever. Printed green tiled floor, cabanas and multi-cuisine buffets with yummy chaat counters. Jhinga Raiwalla, Mustard-crusted Tenderloin and the Caramel Custard continue to be the old favourites. Skip the standard sandwiches and burgers from the la carte menu in favour of multi-cuisine buffets (mainly Indian, Italian and European/Global): Breakfast Buffet (Rs.900), Lunch Buffet (Rs.1,199), Dinner Buffet (Rs. 1,399) or their ever-popular Midnight Buffet (Rs. 550), all of which showcase live pizza and pasta counters and elaborate chaat counters (great for those out-of-town guests) as well. rnP.S. Check out all of the buffets here. Friday Seafood Buffet (Rs. 1,775+ unlimited bubbly) and the Wednesday Pan-Asian Buffet (Rs. 1,775+ unlimited domestic alcohol). Sunday Brunch (Rs. 1,299 with alcohol or without) from midnight to 4pm includes a dip in the pool.

Its my stop over place when ever im anywhere near the airport. Though a little expensive but the non-veg buffet is simply a winner. The food is served realy fast even when the place is buzzing.
