Swiftly served, generously spiced and deep-fried (lots of it) is the mantra at this huge success story which started in Bandra. I have had superb meals here when it was a small start up and have watched the Bandra flagship grow into a fancy large space. Menus and branches have expanded since then. Chin-dian zindabad! What began with a bang in Bandra continues to woo crowds in Worli in the gleaming Atria Mall. Woolly Chicken, Crispy Thread Paneer, Crispy Spinach and Spicy Water Chestnut are good ways to start. Continue your chatpata foray with Balinese Pot Chicken, Thai Curry (Red and Green), Malaysian Chicken, Prawns (Singapore or barbecued), Bali Pomfret/Crab, Exotic Vegetables, and stir-fried Chinese Greens.Skip the steamed listings (can be bland and stodgy) in favour of the spicy. Noise levels can soar at the Atria Mall's high-ceilinged, wood and red-and-white glass panelled non-obtrusive restaurant, while the Bandra branch is more elegant. Generous, lip-smacking fare (including affordably priced vegetarian dishes) keeps the crowds coming.
