Although there are many Chinese food outlets in and round the city, this one definitely stands out as their dishes carry a strong Oriental flavour. Moreover, their Chinese food is not laced with Indian-ness which generally is the culture around the country.
Lemon Grass is according to me the finest Oriental restaurant in the city. Not just Chinese, they also serve Monolian food, which I have never tasted before. The new cuisine was a good decision and I will recommend it to one and all who are looking forward to change their cuisine.
It is a superb place to have Mughalai food. Since there are very less places in Chennai that offer cuisines from north this one has lived up to my expectation. Every non vegetarian food lover must eat here at least once. Good job by the staff.
Joet's is a classic example for how to follow the path in your parents footsteps. The place was set up in late 70's and the next generation has carried it forward very well keeping in mind the taste the preferences that changes with time. The local cuisines are worth a try.
El Tablao is a good place and I liked their dishes and preparation from the south american countries. Its is worth every penny that you spend.
The ambience of this place is very good. Although it has a shade of colonial times, it is one of the most easily accessible 'cheap' places in the city. You can have unlimited beers and snacks during the happy hours but without that also the bill will not be much. You can have a good time here during no happy hours time as well.

Their menu is very extensive out of which i tried many vegertarian and non vegeratrian dishes. To keep my happiness at the peak, there was music flowing at the background. Nice place and a great experience.
