Five friends unite with a task in their hands and what awaits them forms the core of the story.
Amal Neerad has an enviable eye for garbing his characters. In Bachelor Party, he makes the men look appealing and the women alluring. The way they drag their feet as if in a stupor adds to their charm. They tend to pose themselves as extra-terrestrials with an earthly face. The women on the other hand demand attention. The film has a gang of loutish leads who end up in a hospital which has more white curtains than medicines. The nurse wears a garish red sari. She has jasmine flowers on her hair. The doctor is greedy and the nurse is desirous. There are songs filmed with style, and stunts orchestrated more with guns than physical movements. The director lays bare his fetish for guns as he stitches together scenes one by one where the characters do nothing but fire at each other.
A mindless narrative gets further worsened by a never ending series of ear-splitting gun shots and makes the film a forgettable affair. Even the faint attempts at lending a philosophical tinge to the narrative towards the end, fall flat among the array of dead bodies.

On all the movie review sites where 'Bachelor Party' has been reviewed has portrayed it a waste of money just because there is a lack of solid script and slow motion capture being used overtly. I am a viewer who loves a movie with a strong script and very less violence and fights but to be honest Amal Neerad and team has woven such intricate moments into the film which will be relished forever in the future. Just for argument sake, if Big B which is considered by all these critics as a cult and standard setting movie was not criticized just for the fact that mammooty was doing the lead role. Where as Bachelor party lacks a megastar in its midst which I feel is seen as a weak point to blame the entire movie. I feel Background music and cinematography has given this movie a stylish aura which is neither overpowering nor a passe. Seriously a treat for the visual and auditory senses, coupled with the dialogue delivery which has an effervescent colloquial aroma to it. MY verdict ::::BEST AMAL NEERAD FILM TILL DATE:::: PS: Chila malayali naarigal ethra nalla padam aanengilum athe koothara aanennu parayum....script ondengilay annaakkilotte erangathollu, slow motion kandaalo!! appo thooraan muttum. Ivanay okkay veettukaar enganay sahikkuno aavo.

I am not blindly praising Amal Neerad about his stylish rendering of a beautiful friendship story which is positively "inspired" from hongkong movie "exhiled". One should not blame him, after considering his extra efforts to bring some world movie standard to this industry. No one ever dare to attempt such a suicidal venture. After watching movie, i wonder why people made a wrong propaganda about the "climax" scene as bad. 80% of movie is extra ordinary and only 20% of final sequence , the mallus couldn't digest. But what he conveyed was some true facts to be imbibed " Every evil act has an evil end", "Live in friendship and Die for friendship" etc etc. Those who didn't liked the climax can excuse him for the rest of delicious feast he has given. Especially songs and cinematography was heavenly. Story line was good. Dialogues were entertaining...I am sure that the OPPONENT parties ( like ashiq abu team, mammootyy, mohanlal fans) are giving lot of FALSE PROPAGANDA. Pls do watch movie and review by ur heart, not by the brainwashed reviews!!!
