Kiva at Ashok Nagar is, in a sense, not a lounge bar. It's rather a restaurant with loud music. The entrance is impressive and can easily be passed off as a lounge bar or nightclub. Once inside, it certainly is loud and buzzing with activity. On a Saturday night, it is jam-packed and it is like this on most weekdays too. It is dark at Kiva but the décor is tastefully executed and detailed — lots of interesting Indonesian touches and artefacts from Bali which don't overpower. This is obviously where Pune's hip set — a young, upwardly mobile, trendy lot that just wants to enjoy good food, nice surroundings and great music — hangs out. Kiva is all about a great bar, international-style food, great décor, subdued lighting and good music. The bar menu is extensive with Margaritas, shots and martinis ruling the day. Check out cocktails like First Dose in Kiva and Forest Fire; and mocktails like Paradise Island and Hot Wired. The Tandoori Kebab, Murgh Chatpata and Murgh Pahadi Kebab make for nice starters. DJ Jack spins retro, rock, house and hip hop music.

The food and the ambiance and the drinks are all perfect. I had great fun when i went here with my friends.It is truly a place where you can unwind all your worried.

Their margaritas and martinis are awesome and same is the case with its Tandoori kEBABS. They are just awesome. Moreover, the music at the place will surely set your mood for sure. Visit on any weekday and you will surely enjoy it as if you are on a weekend. Don't miss it!
