One of the more popular restaurants at Karve Road, Kalinga has regulars vouching for the tasty Coastal food served here. The Tandoori Baby Surmai and Rawas Tikka make good starters. The Stuffed Pomfret Masala and Pomfret Pulli Machhi are quite nice. However, the Surmai Fish and Kundapuri are very ordinary. North Indian dishes like Chicken Lahori and Chicken Lazeez are not up to mark. The Chinese part of the menu is avoidable. The menu also has Chicken Gassi, Pulli Munchi, Surmai Kundapuri and Appam Neer Dosa. During lunch time, you will see many executives from the nearby offices. The decor and service are passable and the prices very reasonable. They also serve imported and Indian alcohol, which you can enjoy in the AC and garden area.
