Shivsagar at JM Road serves nice South Indian and greasy, lacklustre Chinese dishes. Quite tasty are the Kanchipuram Idli, Mexican Dosa and Idli Chilli Fry. The desserts are what you should not miss out at Shivsagar. The Supreme selections are heavenly. The Sitaphal Supreme and the Strawberry Supreme are definitely worth indulging. If you have a small appetite make sure you have someone to share it with… it is big and the cream that is slathered over the fresh fruits and ice cream is definitely not light! Even the Raja Rani Honeymoon Special Ice Cream is not to be missed. Shivsagar is worth visiting solely for its Supreme selections. The service is slow and the decor non-existent.

Shivsagar Restaurant's menu has south Indian and Chinese dishes which have very fancy names, like Mexican Dosa and Kanchipuram Idlis. Idli Chilli Fry is a must have besides the too sweet desserts. End your meal with Raja Rani Honeymoon special ice cream.
Shivsagar Restaurant might be serving the most common cuisines of the town still the twist added by this place makes it a must visit.
