The Ship may have become more of a pub and less of a restaurant. There has been a change of hands in management as well. But the food continues to be good. The a la carte menu is impressive and well thought out - a range of salads (Seafood, Spicy Chilli Coriander Chicken, Roast Duck, Caesars, Grilled Apple, Warm Mushroom); appetizer platters (Seafood, Indian, Continental, Lebanese Mezze); lots of interesting appetizers, main courses, wraps and sandwiches, pastas and risottos, and Indian kebabs and grills. Vegetarians are well looked after with an interesting range of dishes to choose from - tasty Falafel wraps and Roesti in the appetizer section to Asparagus Crêpes and Lasagne in the main course. The seafood, poultry and meat section is wild with Maguro Tuna, Australian John Dory, Roast Duck, Fillet Mignon and several exotic chicken preparations. The salads are good too. The Sushi is outstanding - tempura prawn, salmon and a couple of vegetarian ones too. All the Indian kebabs and starters like Kesari Malai Tikka and Chilli Tossed Baby Potatoes are excellent. The main courses of Roast Beef with Mash, Prawn Curry and rice are good, but the fish was overcooked. Desserts need working on. All the dishes are very reasonably priced. But The Ship needs to seriously spruce itself up, to deck itself so as to have more farers aboard its deck.

First thing, it is a pub style bar and the food is its biggest strength. The Salad range is just too superb and the menu gets better with every order. Do have Grilled Apple, pastas and Roast Duck that are taste bud arousing dishes.
Roasted Beef is something that you can try in case you are open for experimenting with new dishes.

It was an amazing and unforgettable night. I went the ship with few of my friends. We all were meeting after the long time. We had lots and lots of fun. We were in the group of 10 and were looking for something different and good place. We had few drinks and preferred a la carte menu. We first ordered Spicy Chilli Coriander Chicken salad, Maguro Tuna, Roast Duck, Kesari Malai Tikka and Chilli Tossed Baby Potatoes. The food was excellently prepared and it was very delicious. We had such a lovely food and amazing time together at the ship. Truly an excellent experience. Food was just an add-on to the lovely time we had and ambiance was perfect for us to enjoy.
