If you wish to relish some really good kebabs while at the same time soaking in the panoramic view of Pune, Charcoal Pit, the rooftop restaurant at Hotel Tej Regency, is the place to head to. The kebabs and tikkas are served straight out of the live tandoor. In starters, the Murgh Mumtaz and Murgh Adraki are good and recommended. Also do check out the Murgh Malai Kebab, Fish Tikka Adraki and Fish Achaari Kebab. In the mains, Murgh Tawa Masala, Fish Malabari Curry and Baby Corn Peas Tawa Masala are worth a try. Charcoal Pit is a good place for people who want to play safe and are firm believers of the tried and tested policy. The seating arrangement is simple and the waiters are efficient. Go and tuck in some succulent, melt-in-the-mouth kebabs.

Charcoal pit is an excellent cosy little dining space. View the pune camp area 360 degrees, tasty food, and not at all expensive.

The place serves great kebabs . You can choose from large variety of kebabs available on the menu. And the place has a superb quality that i maintains same qualoity standards on all its options. Great place

The Charcoal pit is the best restaurant in town if you want to have smoked non vegeratrian dishes which are made in tandoor. The breads (rotis, naan) served here are also bigger than the usual size and a group of friends can easily have a sumptuous meal at cheap rate.
