If you fancy a cup of exceedingly good Italian coffee (Illy) and a delectable mouthful of sweetness, then just head for Gourmet Avenue, a corner in the Hyatt Regency serving international-style pastries, great breads and quick snacks. I often pop in, usually on my way to or from the airport for their Smoked Salmon and Bagel Open Sandwich. The chocolates made with Belgian Callebaut make fabulous gifts and their bread, especially the long, crusty French baguettes, are outstanding. Prices are five-star but then so is the quality. The Gourmet Avenue is also a convenient place to stock up on freshly baked goods - muffins, hand-dipped chocolates, homemade truffles, cold sandwiches, quiches, puffs and pick-me-up coffee and croissants, with an emphasis on quick, efficient and uncomplicated service at all times. Guests can also email their orders to save time.

One of the most favorite parts of my regular activity is walking up to Hotel Hyatt Regency after office for a cup of piping hot Italian coffee at the Gourmet Avenue. With that some snacks or Smoked Salmon is a very good way of ending a hectic day and beginning a relaxed evening. Desserts of Gourmet Avenue are also things to look forward to. This café is classic and elegant to sit and brows through the day inside the head.

GA is a nice, quite and cosy place to go on date or u prefer some lone time with ur place contemplating over a cup of coffee and some amazing snacks, pastries and chocolates. While their open/closed sandwiches are surely to die for, its the humble Chicken Puffs that i found to be my most favoritest if there is ever such a word!! simple, crunchy and delectable with oodles of ketchup.
Very lil known secret abt GA is that after evening 6:30 pm or so most of the items up in the counter are sold at 50% rates, which i feel is very good gesture by the Hotel.
They also make lip smacking varieties of custom made Birthday Cakes although slightly pricier but cheaper than other star hotels. The cakes are very soft and delicious when it comes to making the day of ur loved ones special every tiny little detail matters and here they ensure with ur B'day cake it is taken care of and out of experience of making so many cakes for my friends and family i have found the chefs here are very very passionate abt their work... and i hope they continue to do so!!
Favorite Dishes / Drinks: White Chocolate cake with Almonds (with grated orange zests), New York Cheesecake, Muffins, Croissants, Black Forest, Handmade Chocolates, Liquor filled chcoclates, Gourmet Beads especially the French baguettes are some of my favorites here
