Go to Northern Frontier, a smart and classic restaurant in style, for a truly satisfying Indian meal experience . There are several familiar North Indian kebabs and curries on the menu (Tangdi, Reshmi, Tandoori Chicken, Seekh, Raan, Hara Bhara, Gosht Saagwala, Chhole), which are all excellent. Dishes like Makhmali Lobster and Jumbo River Prawns are house specialities. Enjoy the Kashmiri dishes, including the Murgh Dum Wazwani style (cooked in a more familiar brown onion stock with Garam Masala), Tabak Maaz and Nadur Monji. For main course, the Marchwangan Korma is hot and irresistible! The Rogan Josh is quite mild and tempered down. The Kashmiri speciality Mutton Gushtaba (Rs.300), meatballs in yoghurt-based gravy, is delicious. Do not forget to order the Ninya Pulao, rice cooked in mutton stock with mutton pieces and a hint of Garam Masala. You can even go for their Set Lunch Menu (Rs.399), but you can avail of this offer only during weekends.

Very good food joint.I'm foody specly North Indian food so I ike this restaurant .Just have Rista which I did'nt find any where in Pune which is yummy.
Favorite Dishes / Drinks: Gushtaba,Gelouti kebab n rista.

As a hard core foodie north indian I am always on search for good north indian meal. The Northern Frontier presents great north indian meal, certainly one of the most authentic for Pune standards, where Punjabi is synonym for north indian. The dishes that stand out are Rogan Josh (specially the veg version with Gobhi) and kebabs. This place is highly recommended.

We went there with my office colleagues there for a farewell dinner of one of my colleague. There non veg food was very good and having much choices, but in the veg part there was not much options.
The service is very very slow and not very appreciable. The alcohol is also little expensive. But the place is good and with very nice taste.
You can try this place as you will find few Kashmiri cuisine which you will hardly find anywhere in pune.
