The restaurant complex is actually one beautiful outdoor space, a little Oriental in inspiration, on the seventh floor of Panchshil Tech Park. Zafraan and Laguna share space. But each area of tables has a quiet intimacy. Zafraan serves a clear and exhaustive Pan-Indian menu, while Laguna has a comprehensive European menu with an extraordinary selection of authentic Lebanese dishes. Start with Chef's Special Platters - Veg, Meat and Seafood - appetizing and outstanding. There are also over a dozen pastas and thin-crust pizzas and a selection of risottos. The Paella, a Spanish rice dish, is a little disappointing. However, the Spanakos Menemen, a creamy mix of spinach, potato and feta cheese served in a potato pancake smothered with a Gorgonzola Sauce, is to die for. There is also a large selection of grills. Main courses on the European menu are classic dishes like the Melanzane Parmigiana, Moroccan Lamb Stew and a fillet of pomfret stuffed with prawn mousse. The Middle-Eastern Baklava is an outstanding dessert. The restaurant has a full bar menu and good wine list. They also do a very good and reasonable Lunch Buffet (Monday-Saturday: Rs. 395, Sunday: Rs. 620/Rs. 822). The service is attentive and the staff knowledgeable and well trained. Going all the way to Zafraan may be a bit of trek if you don't live in or near Viman Nagar, but it is an experience certainly worth driving across town for. Remember to order the Lebanese dishes.

Last weekend I was in the city for some personal work and I visited this restaurant. For meeting, formal or informal this restaurant is quite impressive as the seating arrangement offers enough privacy….La Carte and buffets both have many exciting things to try out and I would recommend the Moroccan Lamb Stew. Good and worth visiting.

For Pan Asian cuisine Zafraan is a wonderful option in this city and I and my friends have explored this place to a large extend. Also the place serves few Lebanese and European dishes like Paella which tastes really good. Also the Pomfret fillet is full of flavor and taste. Zafraan is perfect for wonderful destination for some popular dish and for me and my friends this is one fine choice for fine dining. Clearly, I recommend this restaurant to one and all.
