On offer here is a complete seafood treat and frequent food festivals just up the ante and you get some really rare and delectable dishes to relish. The lobsters here are a must do and the chef can sure stir up some impressive prawn starters. If you're doing the lobster here - we suggest the Lobster Treat - be prepared to take the rest of the day off. It's a treat to savour and can be quite filling. However, the service time is a bit of a wait and can have you tapping the table if you don't have interesting company. rnIf you're doing the seafood rounds in Chennai, Kayal is a must for its lobster.

I was Le Royal Meridien Hotel last week for a meeting with the clients. After the meeting I and one of the other employees went Kayal to have some good food. we had lobster and prawns. Food was quite delectable and mouth-watering. Later, we ended the food with some sweets which were nice too. apart from food, both service and décor of the restaurant was average. There was nothing exciting about them. we had good food and time. thinking Kayal to be the part of Le Royal Meridien Hotel, we thought the décor to be good too.
