The Dariba Jalebiwala is as intrinsic a part of Delhi as any of its historic landmarks. Not many restaurants in the country can pride themselves on being more than a century old and serving just two items: samosas and Jalebis. This modest-looking shop has served the entire gamut of celebrity clients - from Raj Kapoor to Indira Gandhi. The large, thick Jalebis (cooked in pure ghee, of course) drip with calories. But any thought of calories should be abandoned immediately if you happen to partake of the Jalebis here. Actually, the sensible thing to do is to begin with the inimitable samosas and end with the Jalebis. A must for those with a sweet tooth.

“When you are at Chandni Chowk, don’t expect the ambiance” were the words said by my friend. He took me to the old and famous Jalebiwala at Dariba. I never had such an awesome street food. I had samosas and Jalebis, both were delicious. The crowd can all time be seen at this place. I truly loved the place and jalebis and samosas.
