Veda, with its over-the-top decor, is more than the sum of its parts. 1001 Nights meets Bordello meets Mysterious Orient. You would not go there merely for the excellence of its cuisine but for the whole experience. Lamb-Stuffed Chicken is an escallope of chicken breast with lamb mince that works rather well. Stick to the North Indian favourites for an enjoyable meal. The Pepper Chicken is so-so, but the Kararee Bhindi and the Onion and Parmesan Kulcha are very good. Litchi ki Tehri is an innovative dessert. The Vasant Kunj mall outlet has more flash than the one in Connaught Place.

Last week, some of my german friends arrived in Delhi and they wanted to go to a good Indian restaurant for dinner near CP and without a doubt, the first restaurant which came to my mind was Veda. I had high expectations from this place as I had already visited their Vasant Kunj location and I am glad to say that Veda at CP didn't disappoint me. Service was good, food was awesome and decor was 'awesomer'. This is a place where you would like to take your girl-friend. We ended up ordering butter chicken, non-veg platter, saag mutton, some rice, tomato soup and fried okra (bhindi) and 2 beers. All of these dishes were tasty but okra was very salty. The bill came around 4200/- so I must say that this is not a cheap place.
Verdict : Must try once

Lamb stuffed Chicken which is an escallope of chicken breast with lamb is very well cooked. Ambience is up to the mark and overall experience is mind blowing. i love going here.
