With comfortable couches and sky-blue, turquoise interiors, Fresc Co has the appeal of a typical Mediterranean café. The place is cheerful and charming. You can make yourself believe you are in a piazza in Sunny Spain, but the truth is that the overwhelming majority of dishes are vegetarian. The local palate has been catered to, well and truly, by such dishes as Chaat Patatas and AOP alla Delhi: that’s Spaghetti Aglio Olio Peperoncino! To get into classic Spanish, try the Fideua: broken spaghetti with chick peas, spring onion and tomato concasse cooked together like a paella, in a paella pan. The portion size is huge. The thin-crust pizzas are good too, especially the Sicilian. Others to try are Mezze Platter, Chicken Ravioli Pasta, Tenderloin Steak, Chicken Shawarma Roll and Prawn Pot Meal. Fresc Co is more popular for its lunch buffet when executives from nearby offices crowd this place.

This Mediterranean-themed resto-bar is simple and elegant. Fresc Co is spacious and comfortable with interiors done in a Mediterranean theme. On offer is Mediterranean cuisine from 22 countries along the sea. The buffet meals are popular. The cocktails worth trying are Sangria, Kiwi Margarita, Green Apple and Mint Martini. For mocktails try Mediterranean Kiss, Tangerine Mojito and Basil Blush. The appetisers popular are Tenderloin Steak, Grilled River Sole Fillet, Bruschetta, Taut Souvlaki, Fish Fingers, Loaded Potatoes and Chicken Wings. A live girl band plays during weekends. The service is warm and gentle.

Fresco claims to have yen healthiest buffet. I wasnt very surprised when I learnt that because Mediterranean and Italian food is primarily prepared in olive oil and we all know that extra virgin olive oil is quite light on the stomach and healthy. I ate a pizza that they served me and I absolutely loved it. It was one good pizza. I had the classic pepperoni. They also do really good pastas. I picked the Arabiata sauce and I was quite pleased with my choice. They do a decent mezze platter as well but so many new new restaurants have sprung up that it is really hard to pick a favourite!

I have been to Fresco once with my friends and once with my parents. Both the experiences have been shockingly different. The first time I went with friends we tried their buffet and the second time I went with my parents I tried their la carte menu. The experience with friends was not the best, their buffet has too many leaves and I felt like a cow grazing my way through the buffet. The good stuff seemed very stale and dry. Nothing on their buffet menu could keep me engaged. The pizza was quite bland, the salads were too try, the pasta was a disgrace. I wish I could say one good word about anything on the buffet menu but I cannot. Oh wait, I can actually, the desserts were present in abundance and the taste quite frankly wasnt superb but it was still fine. Other than the fact that every dish seemed like it was missing something on the buffet menu, the meal went down well. When I went with my parents I ordered from their la carte menu. The Shawarma Roll promised to be a lot of things on the menu, succulent and delicious but some weird spice made it taste quite plain. It wasnt a well prepared roll. The cottage cheese burger too seemed like it was headed in the right direction but midway it lost its way completely. My experience of Fresco hasnt been very nice both time and I wouldnt recommend it very much.
