Located right opposite Striker – the big daddy of Gurgaon breweries – this newest entrant is attempting to make grand designs on the city's nightscape. Sprawled over two floors with the second being a makeshift balcony-like space, featuring a large stage (much like its neighbour), 2 giant video screens, a spacious bar and 4 Kinect gaming consoles; Manhattan lives up to its American name by doing things big. Everything is tall – from the ceilings to the brewing vats and even the serving glasses. Their mixed clientele of colleagues, young couples, guy’s night out groups and weekend revellers seem to be right at home chugging and challenging each other to rounds of table tennis, beach volleyball and bowling on the gaming screens. That sense of bonhomie is infectious and would make you want to linger on despite the in-house DJ's poor taste in music. Ignore the playlist and focus on the brews instead. The first brewery in town with their own Stout (unfortunately unavailable the day we visited), their list also includes usual suspects like Wheat, Lager and Hefe along with Hudson Lager and the rare India Pale Ale. The former two were weaker in comparison to other brewpubs, but the Hudson Lager is a refreshingly malty option. Surprisingly, their beverage range includes Japanese sake, sochu and Single Malts too – probably to cater to the large expat community working in Gurgaon. For the non-beery, there are Fusion Cocktails led by an able Demerara Fig Mojito. If you still have room left, bite into gooey, cheesy appetizers like Cheese Stuffed Mushrooms and Chicken Popcorn from a menu leaning heavily towards American staples (read junk food) served up by a very efficient wait staff. Everything is right here...only if they could work harder on their brews.

Went there twice on office party. It is one of the most magnificent place in Delhi/NCR. Firstly, the wooden decor is a nice one. The game stations will also keep you busy. Most importantly is the feel of the place, it feels safe for girls to have drinks and dance there, the dj is good too. I didn't have had a lot of food there but service is awesome, feel of the bar is perfect too. All in all the place is a haven for all the weekend party people and really good that will burst your stress.

Heard so much about this place so went there to try. The large array of cuisines, the freshly brewed beer and the grand area in which everything is built is just amazing. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to go to a after office party, date or just chilling in the afternoon. The burger patty tasted like the venkys burger patty, deep fried and oily The brews are simply terrific - especially the Belgian Wheat with its distinctive orange nose and the German Wheat with its brilliant banana undertone.. Wow... The service -- fantastic despite the huge number of guests and the servers kept the food & drinks flowing. The service is very prompt here. All in all full value for money. Overall I loved the place- good ambience, awesome beer and delicious food with good quantityMust go. This place deserves a visit.

Beer was the foremost on our minds as Times city and Hmm! descended upon Manhattan brewery to taste their fares. Manhattan is a crossover between an american pub and an Indian discotheque. It welcomes you with a huge Harley Davidson in keeping with the American theme. Split across 2 levels with a huge distillery on one end and a huge stage on another, Manhattan satisfies your every need. Offering up huge mugs of freshly brewed beer, delectable cuisines from across the world, kinetic sensor video games,a world class DJ and a huge place to groove, this place is fast becoming a favourite waterhole for the young crowd of the Delhi NCR. We start off with mugs of their finest produce, the Belgian wheat with a golden yellow color, slight sweet taste, consistent head and a zingy bitter aftertaste with a hint of orange is something which you can cling onto after a stressful day at work. The German wheat with a more pale color, consistent sweetness and a slightly less alcohol content is adopt for a first date. The Lager with a very persistent head and a hard bitter taste would feature consistently in a beer chugging fest with your mates. In mood for a serious night of Friday partying, start of with their darkest of offerings, the strong dark beer with a deep smoky taste of chocolate, mild bitter aftertaste but with enough alcohol to launch you into the stratosphere.Their food just like the place, is fused from American to Indian to Chinese to Mediterranean. Starting from the melt in your mouth galauti kebab tempered to perfection with the spices, to the spicy lamb chops and their super crispy and thin crust wood fired pizzas make for a perfect accompaniment to all the ethanol. A place for all seasons, this place offers something for everyone.
