With a name like Tulsi you can be sure that the dishes offered here are hundred per cent satvik and shudh - in fact, it has a separate veg kitchen to itself. Tulsi is the pure-vegetarian restaurant in Ramada Jaipur. The food is above average and the live kitchen adds charm to the place: the sight of dedicated chefs preparing dishes sure whets one's appetite. They serve North Indian and Rajasthani food here, as well as thalis. The dishes that you must not miss are the Gatta Curry, Aloo Pyaz ki Subzi, Kadhi, Paneer Patiala, Surmai Kofta and the Methi Makka Malai. End your meal on a sweet note with their Kesari Rasmalai, Rajbhog or Gulab Jamun. Tulsi offers three varieties of thalis: Shahi Thali (Rs. 425 plus tax), Shekhawati Thali and the Amritsari Thali (both priced at Rs. 375 plus tax). Delicious food set amidst tasteful décor always adds to the dining experience and a meal at Tulsi is no exception. This 45-cover restaurant, with a small area for ghazal performances and a display of old Indian musical instruments on its walls, is also a great venue for family get-togethers or an exclusive social function.

I went to Ramada Jaipur few weeks ago for some formal meeting with a person and we sat at the Tulsi restaurant. This place is the seventh heaven for vegetarian people who love Satvik food. The chef carefully works to prepare authentic Indian thalis that includes some mouth watering vegetarian dishes. Even though I am not a vegetarian person, but still Dal Makhni, Mix Veg and Gatte Ki Sabzi of this restaurant captured my attention. In Tulsi food is served on silverware and the diners get royal treatment. It is a delightful place for good Indian delicacies.
