Now what is The Expendables' craze all about: Is it about Hollywood's super duper Men of Steel sharing the silver screen with each other? If yes, Expendables 2 surely tops the chart. Just take your pick -- Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham, Jet Li, Chuck Norris, Jean-Claude Van Damme, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Liam Hemsworth. Or is it about seeing the same Men of Steel doing what they do best - action, action and action? If yes, rest assured, Expendables 2 delivers more dhamaka in comparison to its prequel.
In fact, no sooner does the camera start rolling do you find your heroes running between tanks, explosions, bikes, through jungles.... On the other hand, the very last scene can have any action buff asking for more - Slyvester and Jean-Claude keep their guns aside and choose to fight the fist-and-foot way. And what lies between the beginning and the end? A storyline, a wee bit better than the Expendables, but definitely not cutting edge.
A word about performances. It's Sylvester Stallone and Jason Sathom who are primarily seen calling the shots ... with ease. Up next is the new kid on the block, Liam Hemsworth, who does manage to fit in pretty well with the action heroes of yore. As for Bruce Willis and Arnold, we do get to see a bit more (action fans read: still little) of them (remember the blink-and-you-will-miss cameo of the two in the earlier part), though you are once again left wondering why they are not a part of all that action-reaction stuff. Lastly, what really disappoints is the is-he-even-there Jet Li and why-is-he-even-there Chuck Norris.
But all set aside, it's these bunch of cronies, trapped in the orgy of death and destruction, making up for all that misses... and of course hits. Time to settle down for some vintage bang-bang stuff!

Full of action and only action,The theme could have been better,but overall when the veterans of action combine yo ahould not miss that movie. Jet Lee absence was also felt in the movie.

Certainly a great movie with a lot of hollywood hot shots. Keep you interested till the end with a lot of action scenes. Movie start with the rescue mission of a Chinese billionaire which also become the rescue of Arnold. Because of this Arnold Owe one to the Expendables team. Mr Church threatens the Expendable team to go on another mission to rescue a GPS device containing the coordinate of a Plutonium Storage. In the rescue mission something unexpected happens and a new member of the team was brutally killed by Van Damme(Lead villain). After that the expendables team decide to avenge their friend and go on a rescue mission which ultimately becomes a rescue mission of innocent villagers who are forced to mine for Van Damme. In the misson everyone is trapped inside the mine, where Arnold comes for teams rescue. Then is chase and subsequent fight between the two teams.

You will not be disappointed if you are expecting action and only action. Great star packed action movie with continuation of the same action we have seen in the first of the series. Great to see Arnold being part of the movie.

Ependables-2 has proved that age hold no bar to action heroes.:)..Because the average age of all the actors in it was 45 so i think all the old people should watch it and take points..:P It was a timepass movie and so expecting more out of it would be unfair to it. In its 3 installment i would really like to see Indian Action PAPA Rajnikant.:P

i think its a dvd movie to be watched in tv, not watchable in theaters, liked the the first one though. i don't know, i feel something is lacking in the movie. only thing to see is screen shared by arnold, stallone, willis etc. i think its lack of proper direction.

A lot of unnecessary action with many plot holes and cheesy references to the actors' past movies. The acting was terrible and dialogue delivery was laughable. Watching this movie will ruin your impression of the actors involved.

All the Gods of action were assembled in the 70 mm frame to treat us with action , stunts, daredevilness, and surprisingly, humour!!!!!!!! Jet Li and Bruce Willis were wasted while Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham were given the most of the frames, mostly sitting in Jaan-e-mann's cockpit.All the mean machines (pun intended) were fantastic. The storyline was similar to many movies: going on a mission to stop the villain, etc., etc.. Haven't watched the prequel but heard that it was better. Overall a nice and clean movie, don't understand why it got an 'A' certificate, maybe due to all the shooting sequences and violence, but kids today are habitual of playing P.C. games comprising of all this stuff, and will love to watch all the 'Terminators' and 'Rambos' together.

The action play is best as always but as all action stories are,it just lacks that luster which a movie should have.But if you are a fan of such heroes,you should definitely watch it.Its WORTH for you guys.
