Bollywood flocks to this sprawling, cheerful and carpeted space. At dinner time, rows of light glimmer, creating an aura of drama and romance. During the day, large glass walls let in light, cheer and an amazing view of the Arabian Sea and the Portuguese Fort at Ming Yang (Land of the Rising Sun), the Taj Lands End's Chinese restaurant, serving authentic Cantonese and Schezwan cuisines. Chef David Yui Kwong's wok magic remains as spectacular as ever ā taste the evidence in his unique Chilli Mountain Chicken (a mountain of chillies through which you pick the chicken). Salt 'n' Pepper Prawns and Konjee Crispy Lamb are brilliantly rendered. Lobster in Chilli Butter Garlic Sauce and Peking Duck are recommended too. Vegetarians are well cared for with Crispy Spinach with Almond, Four Treasure Vegetables, Sauteed Green Beans and more. If you visit at lunch, request the Chef's original and delicate dim sums off-the-cart. You can certainly go for the Ming Yang specialities that include Peking Duck, Drunken Pomfret, Lobster in Chilli Butter Garlic Sauce, Fried Duck, Ming Yang Chicken and Tai Chin Kai. Fried Ice Cream is a wonderful treat. End with Formosa Green Tea. Prices are stratospheric, but the food hits those highs too. Small groups of 14 or fewer looking for an intimate dining experience can inquire about Ming Yang's private dining room. Meals prepared for dining room guests offer flexible options at fixed prices (Rs. 3,500 and Rs. 3,000 per person, per dish selection).

Dining at Ming Yang is a one of its kind experience that can not be found anywhere else. This place is superb and really dramatic in its interior and ambience. Similarly, the oriental food of this place is equally food of drama and spice. I personally love their Peking Duck, Ming Yang Chicken and also Fried Ice Cream. The price of the food is little on the higher side but for such a gastronomic delight I do not hesitate to pay that.

After hearing excellent reviews for Ming Yang from everywhere, I finally decided that I must visit the place. I really, really loved the large glass walls let in light, cheer and an amazing view of the Arabian Sea and the Portuguese Fort. It's just the perfect place to spend with family and friends though a bit expensive. For Cantonese and Schezwan cuisines, Ming Yang could one of the best places to visit. Its unique Chilli Mountain Chicken, Salt ānā Pepper Prawns and Konjee Crispy Lamb are some of the yummiest delicacies. Visiting this place was a pleasurable experience for me.
