This is it. It remains the celebration restaurant of the city. The hallowed Zodiac Grill may not be as much the focal point of the city’s gliteratti as it was in its heyday, but it still has not met its match and continues to reign supreme for the past 25 years. There are plans ahead to shut it and reincarnate it at its original location in a Peruvian avatar. Till then, if you are looking to splurge in style, then Zodiac is still your best bet. Its food and prices hit stratospheric heights and there maybe very few diners in the restaurant, but boy! Do Jaee Pendse, Abhas Saxena know how to make your celebration and true celebration? Very recently for a friend’s anniversary, they did it all... from details on the table to a personalized special champagne bottle label and three-tiered photocakes and more. They’ve even introduced the Jaguar celebratory meals (`25,000+taxes for a couple where they’ll send a Jaguar to fetch and drop you back. In the suffused elegance of this exclusive, wood-panelled, Taj restaurant, everything is designed to take you into rarified stratospheres of gastronomic bliss . Everything is designer here... from the large blue dome with twinkling stars, especially designed Bernadaud crockery, Christoffle cutlery to the Reidel glassware. New Zealand Oysters, French Goose Liver, Fresh Enoki, the finest Caviar… all meticulously chosen and stylishly presented. Grand Corporate Chef, Hemant Oberoi, is constantly in creative mode and introduces exotic and creative new dishes. He is constantly creating and changing menus, coaxing flavours out of classical dishes and express in contemporary terms! Be it Camembert Dariole, Kahlua Mousse, Tornado or New Zealand Lamb Chops. His menus keep changing, and through them all, my all-time favourite remains the airy, silken Cheese Soufflé, the Camembert Dariole and the Kahlua Mousse... both are as seductive and sinfully rich as ever! Enjoy the fine details of the sorbets punctuating the meal, celebration cocktails and Petit Fours.

Note: Sunday and Monday open for dinner only. Check out the 7-course Degustation Menu (Veg: `7,000, Non-veg: `8,000), which is great value, considering that appetizers average at `2,500 and mains at `3,500 each. Fixed 3-course lunch (`4,000 all inclusive and `7,000 per couple all inclusive) too. Closed for Sunday lunch. The wine list, as impressive as ever, lists choicest liqueurs and cognacs

Its an uber cool restaurant! very pricey indeed.. i had visited here for a close family function. Everything is typical five star! No compromise in any department.. i love the comfy seating and the service was very warm.. they have a nice selection of wines as well! i love the kiwi dessert that they served!
Visit if you can afford it! you'l have a great experience.
