Ask any South Mumbai nightbird and they will tell you that the hottest spot for nibbling in the wee hours of the morning is Tratts. It combines value-pricing with superlative fare. Even though the decor is soul-less, I would still recommend this as one of the city's best 24-hour coffee shop. It serves superlative thin-crust pizzas, al dente pastas and has a very popular VFM Sunday Buffet. All with vegetarian and Jain options galore: eggless desserts, mushroom cocktail, and paninis too. As the book goes to press, I eat here twice (and inspite of the sterile decor) enjoy the fabulous Italian cooking here. Affordably priced too. Superb Classic Prawn Cocktail, crusted John Dory with Mustard Cream Sauce, Baked Cod and the juiciest of Lasagne Aubergine Melanzana, Grilled Kobe Steak (all priced at `800 each) delight. Ask for the old favourites: the Mushroom Cappuccino Soup, Tenderloin Carpaccio and Grilled Pork Chops are all equally good. Fire-grilled Tenderloin Steak, Roast Leg of Lamb are menu favourites. Although they offer medium and deep pan-crust pizzas, I recommend their exceptional Thin Crusts any day. Order Pizza Trattoria or select from Onion 'n' Chilli Flake Fiamma, Margherita, or Bianca Pizza (without tomato). Wholewheat Crust as well. You can create a pizza with your very own toppings. Chef Raghu Reddy's grasp of Italian cooking is evident in the pasta dishes too. My favourite dessert here remains their home-made Bitter Chocolate Gelato, also available in a Cashew Nut flavour. Their three-layered Chocolate Mousse remains as popular as ever. Those noisy, buzzing Sunday Brunches (Rs. 1,675 with and Rs. 1,450 without alcohol) are worth checking out too.

What can i say for trattoria. It has always been my favourite. This place rocks big time. The food has been consistently great every single time i have been here. Their pizzas and pastas are best in the town. It is expensive and gets too noisy at peak ho

I love coming to this place. The pizzas, pastas, soups everything is just amazing. The service is good and attentive.
Slightly high on prices, this is a great place for fine dine.
