Wash your hands in rose water (brought to your table), and begin your meal at this picturesque "Peninsular Cuisine" (drawn from four different states in the region to the south of the Vindhyas) restaurant right next to the domestic airport and you'll feel like you’re walking into a traditional Mangalorean estate home with high ceiling et al. Enjoy Adu Ishtew (stew with Appam) and Meen Moilee. Choosing from more than 160 dishes from the menu can be confusing, so request the maitre d' to guide you. Their specialities are Veg Nadang Curry, Pachakari Stew, Avial, Ullitheeyl and Kozhi Melagu Chettinad so maybe you should start there. Skip the fried starters and opt for the main courses. Avial, Pachakari Stew, Mixed Veg Nadang Curry, Khodi Vata Curry and Khori Ghassi are all-time favourites here. Their chicken starter from Andhra (Kodi Vepadu; Rs.750), the Chettinad Chicken, Thair Saadam (Curd Rice; Rs.250) and the Malabari Parathas are quite popular. Regulars enjoy Masa Coonadature, Meen Gassi and Meen Moilee. The Veg Thali (Rs.999+) and Non-veg Thali (Rs.1,399+) are worth trying too. Seafood buffs can partake of a lovely spread for Rs.1,799 (plus taxes). Enjoy the many different flavours!

Vindhyas serve good indian cuisine. Their are so many dishes to choose from that it sometimes can be a bit confusing. Chicken starters tastes pretty good. For main course we ordered malabari parantha's and non-veg thali. Thali's are worth trying out.
