How about a sip of Aer? An elegant expensive sip, no doubt. This is as close as you get to heaven, in our city of high rises and crammed spaces. Go to this bar on the thirty-fourth floor of the Four Seasons Hotel and enjoy high stratospheres (with prices to match). Star-spangled (sometimes smoggy) sky above and a glittering 360 degree city-view below. Relax into the night and the tempo of the music will build up. Multi-coloured scanners and laser beams colour as the large sign of the Four Seasons Hotel gleams above, reminding you of where you are. Contemporary, low-level, white sofas (made of weather-proof material), raised areas (a few steps above the main lounge offer additional privacy) buzz with nightbirds. Jazz and modern Indian lounge keeps the night buzzing as the white, egg-shaped bar is manned by professionally trained barmen. Devang Devasaria the mixologist, mixes winners, be it the vodka-based Whiff or the gin-based Afterglow. And did you know that Lust has gin, thyme and pomegranate? Champagne and champagne cocktails (Bellini, Kir Royale, Black Pearl) are hugely popular too. Classic cocktails and mocktails too. A well-stocked bar but the grouse is that it has only premium liquor and, therefore, highly priced. The swish Champagne set (literally and otherwise) raises a toast to Aer. P.S. Remember to take the correct lift up to the thirty-third floor; walk up a flight of stairs and into the smaller smoking zone of the thirty-fourth floor rooftop bar. On weekends, they have introduced a "minimum spend" voucher of Rs. 1,500 (Thurs–Sat 8pm onwards) which you have to buy on the ground floor.
