The decor at Sounmoi is a bit dated - red lanterns, giant fans, shiny brown tiles and steel back chairs. The restaurant is provincial and strangely quirky. The service boys are courteous and ready to please. Of Chinese, Thai and Korean cuisines that are on offer, Chinese is the safest. The Golden-Fried Prawns come in two sizes - regular and king-size - and are fresh with a coating of batter. The Sweet Corn Chicken Soup is standard and non-glutinous. The Crab in Soya Sauce is quite authentic and delicious. The squids are well cooked and not at all rubbery. You can also check out the Honey-Glazed Roast Chicken and Hot Garlic Noodles, both of which are delicious. Enjoy the Jasmine Tea served in a cute little brown ceramic tea pot. Prices are very reasonable. Sounmoi also does home delivery and catering.

The old world beauty of Sounmoi restaurant is very gripping for me. The menu of this place covers Chinese, Korean and Thai cuisines; however Chinese dishes are predominant in numbers. For me their seafood and to be more specific Golden Fried Prawns are the best dish in here. Hot Garlic Noodles and Kimchi Rice is also well prepared dish of this restaurant. In oriental dish, Sounmoi is one good name for food and for low rates.

Sounmoi ambiance is beautiful in its own way but certainly not my types. I like something bright and happening, this was not that. I had my dinner here. I ordered Golden-Fried Prawns, Honey-Glazed Roast Chicken and Hot Garlic Noodles. Food was delicious and delectable, I must say. Prawns and chicken were accurately cooked and was awesome in taste. Service people were polite and at the service all the time. overall, I had great time there.
